![]() ![]() After hitting repeat a few times, we are left feeling the same way. ![]() It's hard not to listen very loudly, and almost impossible not to shoulder shake. The song starts off with a sample that sounds like it comes from a 2007 euro-pop banger, but once the drums come in, it's all Uzi, all the time. The sorta second half of the album that comes after homecoming is the best half of the album as it features the songs Im sorry, Celebration Station, Bigger. She give me that top and she sloppin again (whoa) Look at his. Intro: Lil Uzi Vert & Matt OX Lets go, lets go Lil Uzi Vert Lets go, lets go (Im working on dying) Not playin, oh-oh (One, two) Lets go (One, two, three) Alright now (Yeah) Chorus I. Them niggas, they switchin, they hoppin again (yeah) Look at them niggas, they oppin again. Just give me more time, other watch cost a Benz (yeah, yeah) Look at Lil Uzi, he poppin again. Uzi floats on the beat, utilizing several different flows that all fit together perfectly. Although it's the chorus that hooks us, Uzi keeps us attentive on his verses. I write in my mind, I dont use a pen (yeah, yeah) She givin me time, my watch cost a Lamb. The sample is infectious, and the bounce is ridiculous. Celebration Station Same sort of chord progression in this one, and again, Im not a fan of the love song/dance fusion. Syd, of course, is an exception to every rule. It makes sense that after so much time off, he wouldn't want to crowd his album with other artists. He enlisted only one feature and used the rest of the album to share the music we needed. A week ahead of its expected release, Uzi dropped the otherworldly Eternal Atake. ![]()
